If you all have paid attention, you'll know who this one's directed toward, well the part about pride, anyway. Well that is unless you all have him on ignore, which, admittedly, I wouldn't be surprised if you did. So I'll shut up now and give you the poem. Killer Pride You comforted me when the man used me, Didn't force yourself into me like some would have, You always harbored hugs and cookies, And yet you could so easily be taken. Even when the new man came, You harbored chocolate, You held hugs and cuddles, And to this day I never understood his pride. When he decided I was no longer worth, You were still there, still cuddling, You harbored music and joy and everything happy, And I harbored a threat from a killer pride. I told you of pride's temper, You harbored safety and comfort, Whether you will always, I do not know, But you harbored trust, protection, and everything safe. But how to keep safety close, How to keep trust from dying, How to keep killer pride at bay, How to keep you mine? I wish we could be free, I wish we would be known, but not known, And I want to know you more than the image.

Sorry, but who is this directed to? I love the poem.
